The button bar area is a button bar that provides common options for Engineering Drawing Services.
These options are detailed in the following paragraphs:

Home Page |
Principle
This option enables to exit the Engineering Drawings service and to return to home page.
Restart Application |
Principle
This option reloads the Engineering Service home page (selection of the drawing family).
You are prompted to confirm your decision.

Go First |
Principle
When displaying the graphic sheets, this option offers the possibility to display the first sheet of the currently selected drawing.
Go Back |
Principle
When displaying the graphic sheets, this option offers the possibility to display the previous sheet of the currently selected drawing.
Go Forward |
Principle
When displaying the graphic sheets, this option offers the possibility to display the following sheet of the currently selected drawing.
Go Last |
Principle
When displaying the graphic sheets, this option offers the possibility to display the last sheet of the currently selected drawing.
Print Drawing Set |
Principle
This action allows to print the entire drawing set or a part of it.
A date stamp is added to Drawing Pictures when they are printed.
PDF files are produced to see Pictures, Parts List, Parts Usage or TEI.
From PDF document it is possible to select the desired printer.
This option is only available if you are viewing an element of the drawing set (Pictures, Parts List, Parts Usage or TEI).
The Mechanical drawing set is composed of the drawing pictures, the Parts List and the Parts Usage.
The Tool drawing set is composed of the drawing pictures and the TEI. The Parts Lists are included in the drawing pictures.
The Repair drawing set is composed of the drawing pictures. The Parts Lists are included in the drawing pictures.

Once element(s) of the drawing set is generated on server, a new window appears to offer you the possibility to download the PDF documentation.
So you can get one document or the whole by clicking on button "Download all these documents".
Then you can print locally these documents, by using your windows environment and printers.

When you access a drawing, you can download a data package concerning this drawing information.
The download action is made in two steps:

Principle
Button bar - Download option
When you access a drawing, you can download a data package concerning this drawing information (graphic sheets, Parts List and Parts Usage or TEI). This option is available when you are viewing a drawing or when a list of drawings is displayed.
The extracted file format is a UNIX tar file containing TIF, JPG and/or PDF file.For the Mechanical Family, the Documents that can be downloaded are : Pictures, Parts List and Parts Usage related to a selected aircraft family.
For the Tool Family, the Documents that can be downloaded are : Pictures, Parts List and TEI related to a selected aircraft family.
For the Repair Family, the Documents that can be downloaded are : Pictures and parts List related to the selected aircraft family.

When the data package is registered, you can click on the "close " option to return to Engineering Drawings.
Note: a data package number is given to your demand.
When you validate your choice, the Engineering Drawings system begins to process your request in background (batch function).
Download the data package
Principle
When you ask for the status of your data packages a list is displayed. For each data package a status is viewed (in progress, available or not available).
When the data package is available an option (Download) offers you the possibility to copy its content on your PC.

You can select the download option to transfer a data package extracted by Engineering Drawings on your computer.
You have to select the "delete option" to cancel a data package that you do not use anymore.
By default and after a certain amount of time, Engineering Drawings automatically cancels the oldest data packages.Tool data package:

Remarks:
- You need to have the "WINZIP" tool on your PC to locally display the PDF items of your data packages.
- A disk quota is reserved for each customer to store the requested data packages. If you reach your space quota, you should remove old data packages before asking for new ones. A message informs you that you have reached the limit of your quota space.
- Data packages are not automatically updated. If you want to get the last drawing information, you should request a new data package for that drawing (and to cancel previous one if you have any).

Principle
This option allows to display the current data area in a full screen window.
To exit from this full screen mode and to display the previous standard size screen click on the "Back" button.
RFI |
Request For Information
This option offers the possibility to send a request for information (RFI) to Airbus.
The is made into two steps:
Principle
In the generic button bar an option "RFI" offers you the possibility to send request for a specific issue.
The RFI option displays a ‘Request For Information’ popup window that offers the possibility to send requests or comments to Airbus.

Note: Please, try to be as precise as possible in your query or comments. If you have comments on two drawings or two sheets, please send two RFI, one for each drawing or one for each sheet.
Principle
In the main Menu the ‘RFI Status’ option offers the possibility to display
the list of your RFI as shown in the example below:

Online Help |
Principle
This action displays the Engineering Drawings Contextual On-line Help.
When you click on this button, the displayed help is related to the information viewed in the main area.
For example, if a parts list is displayed, you obtain help about the parts list.
