The Main Form |
The Main Form is displayed by default, and enables the access to a drawing set (Drawing Pictures, Parts List, TEI).
Access to a Drawing Set
This function allows to view Drawing Pictures, Parts List or Tool Equipment Index.
Principle
The form displays the following elements:
The minimum number of characters required to launch a search is five characters.
A message appears if you try to launch a query without respecting these rules:
You should use the checkbox to select the type of reference (Drawing number and/or Part number).
For example:
- If you only want to search for a drawing number, you can select the checkbox Drawing Number. The reference field represents a drawing number.

- If you only want to search for a part number, you should select the checkbox Part Number. The reference field represents a part number .
- If you want to search for a drawing and/or a part number, you have to check both elements of the checkbox
The drawing that is found is viewed in the display area (Refer to the display area paragraph to have all details about this area).

To view the Tooling pictures of the drawing 55606S0000:
You can either click on the "Search" button or you can press enter when the focus is in the reference field.
The access to the drawings is filtered depending on the user rights. An Airline user has a restricted access to the Part Number or Drawing number concerning the aircraft of his fleet or concerning his delegated MSN.
You can only have access to the Tool Equipment family if you get the corresponding right.
To view the TEI part two of the Tool Drawing Number 55606S0000:
When you click on the search button and if the "Drawing Number" box is checked, the first sheet of the drawing is displayed. By clicking on the TEI option in the contextual area, a window is opened to select an aircraft type.
After validating this choice the associated TEI "part two" report is displayed. The TEI part two describes all the part numbers that are detailed by the selected drawing number for all the versions and ranks of the selected aircraft family.
To view the TEI part one of the Tool Part Number 55606S0000 :
When you click on the search button and if the "Part Number" box is checked, the list of drawings described the Part Number is displayed. Clicking on the Part Number opens a window for the selection of an aircraft type.
To get the list of Tool Drawing Numbers starting with "55606S*":
To get the list of Tool Part Numbers starting with "55605*":
To get the list of Tool Drawing Numbers and Part Numbers starting with "55606*":
When you click on a drawing reference here above in the list you get the display of its sheets.
The Advanced Form |
The Advanced Area allows to enter complementary criteria to execute a search query (Title, FSCM, so on).
It also offers the possibility to access the status of the following main functions:

It is possible to enter or select an MSN number, or to enter or select a Tail Number
(Registration Number).
The advanced option can be selected in the Main query by clicking on its associated button.
It enables you to perform a more accurate search.
This function enables you to perform a search to obtain a list of drawing numbers.
You can combine several search criteria.
Principle
The advanced option displays the following components:
You should use the check box to select the type of reference (Drawing number and/or Part number). The two boxes are checked by default, and at least one box should be checked.
Type in a minimum number of 5 characters (example: 55606). The character '*' named 'wildcard' may replace one or more characters. The character '?' may replace any character. You can enter, in this field, 15 characters at most (length of the Part Number reference).
The minimum characters required to launch a search is five characters, except if you specify a keyword in the title field. For example, you can enter only one "character", followed by wildcard, in the reference field and a type a keyword in the "title" field.
The "search" button is always available but launches the search only if your query respects the previous rules.
A message appears if you try to launch a query without respecting these rules:
Search start-up:
- Search: Enables to launch the search
- Clear: Enables to reset the search criteria (Drawing or Part Number, Title, FSCM, Program, MSN or Tail Number).
- Return: You can also launch the search by using the "return" key when the focus is on an entry field (reference, FSCM or title).
- Change value of the aircraft type or MSN: When you change the value of the aircraft type, the family or of the selected MSN, the query is automatically sent.
Search Results:
The results are output in the display area. If the reference you have entered contains the wildcard character, several responses may be found. The list of references matching the query is output in the data area. Drawing numbers, drawing titles and their associated sheet numbers are displayed in this area. Then, you can click on the desired document to view it.
The Contextual area is updated with information related to the drawing displayed.

Access to RFI status
Principle
In the Advanced query, invoking the "RFI status" allows to obtain a list of the RFI requests you have sent to Airbus.
Refer to the button bar area to see how you can send an RFI.
The "RFI status" option displays the full list of RFI you have sent. It shows you the status associated to each of them.
In the display area you can see:
RFI number, creation date, Drawing Number and FSCM code, Sheet Number and Sheet Issue (for an RFI that concerns a particular sheet of a drawing) are displayed in that zone
The text you have entered for this request is displayed

Access to the status of a download
Principle
In the Main option if you select the Download option you obtain the status of all your Tool Equipment data packages as shown in the example bellow.
Refer to the button bar to see how you can demand and download a Data Package.

Principle
When you click on the "Query List" option you obtain the last queries you have submitted.
If you click on a query in the list, the Main option or the Advanced option is automatically selected. The criteria are updated according to the elements of the query.
