The Search console page reports the top searches within the portal. Since portal searches are not case-sensitive, all searches are transformed and presented in uppercase. You can sort the report by Rank, Search Phrase, Total, Abandoned and Percent Abandoned.An abandoned search is one that does not result in a document view.
For each search phrase, click the Details link to view the names of the Knowledge Directory documents that were opened in the search results.
The following sections describe the attributes that you can set to customize the report.
Data for this console page can only be displayed in tabular format. You can set the number of search phrases that are returned.
Select zero results only to report only the top search terms that returned no results.
You can filter the report according to the following properties.

Date Range |
Allows you to filter data based on a range of dates. If you select Specify Date Range, you can choose the start and end date. |
Authentication Source |
Allows you to filter data based on the authentication source. |
User Property |
Allows you to filter data based on the user properties defined in your portal. After selecting the desired property, select Contains or Does Not Contain and the property value by which you want to filter. |
After you have configured properties for the Search report, click View Data to display the results.
Note: In tabular reports, the report includes a maximum of 1000 data points. However, when you export the report, it includes all data points.
Export Report
To export the report, click Export Report and open or save the file.
To export user level data to a file, click Export User Detail and open or save the file.
